Our chairman had played an exceptional role in the field of education in Andhra Pradesh for over 40 years. A post-graduate in chemistry, he was one of the founders of the pioneering Guntur Vikas Group of Educational Institutions in addition to founding Vikas The Concept School and Epistemo Global School in Hyderabad.

His emphasis had always been on child-centred learning, all round development, learning methods that connect with the real world and inculcating social and civic responsibility.

Mohan Mandava is an M.Tech graduate from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Having worked in the technology sector for over 15 years in India, Singapore and USA, he finds effective ways to apply technology to enrich student learning.

He also has an abiding interest in promoting project-based learning and innovative teaching methods that can spark creativity and critical thinking in children. His motivation for founding Ameya came from the desire to provide his own children a progressive, well-rounded education.

K. Mahendra Chowdary is a post graduate in Metallurgical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University, worked in the BHEL, Hyderabad for about 20 years in various capacities culminating in the position of Additional General Manager, Research and Development before taking voluntary retirement.

Prior to BHEL he worked as a senior scientist with National Metallurgical Laboratories for 10 years. He was also on various commissions of the GoI involved with the departments of space and atomic energy. He is also the Director at Vikas The Concept School and Epistemo Global School at Hyderabad.

Ms. Tulasi is a pharmacy graduate and a Licensed Pharmacist with the California State Board of Pharmacy, USA. Guiding children’s learning is a passion and she has held prior teaching positions at DAV Public School, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and Dr. Shyamala Reddy Dental College, Bangalore. She practiced pharmacy for close to a decade at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, St. Louise Hospital and Kaiser Permanente in San Jose, California, USA.
